Who we are
This policy covers the "Wallpapers" app for iPhone and Android (the "app"), published by Himley Apps ("we", "us"). Questions? Email info@himleyapps.com.
Information the app does not collect
- No account. You can use every feature without signing up or logging in.
- Favorites stay on your phone. The wallpapers you heart are saved only on your device and are never sent to us.
- Photos. The app asks for permission only to add the wallpapers you download to your photo library. It does not read, upload or share your existing photos.
- Wallpapers are built in. All wallpapers ship inside the app, so browsing them sends nothing to our servers. We do not run any servers that receive data from the app.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows banner, full-screen and optional rewarded video ads provided by Google AdMob. To show ads, limit how often you see them, measure their performance and prevent fraud, Google may automatically collect:
- Device identifiers, such as the advertising identifier (IDFA on iPhone, only if you allow tracking; Advertising ID on Android)
- Approximate location based on your IP address
- Device and app information, such as phone model, operating system, language and app version
- Ad interactions, such as which ads were shown or tapped
- Diagnostic data, such as crash and performance information from the ads software
Google acts under its own privacy policy. Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Your choices
- iPhone tracking permission. The app asks whether it may track you to show more relevant ads. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", ads are still shown but they are not personalized using your advertising identifier. You can change this any time in iPhone Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland. Where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice any time in the app under Settings › Privacy choices.
- Android. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your phone's Settings › Privacy › Ads (the exact path depends on your phone).
- Email. If you use "Contact Us", your email app opens with your app version and phone model added to help us answer. You can delete them before sending. We use your email only to reply to you.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are limited to content rated suitable for general audiences with parental guidance (PG).
Data retention and your rights
We don't keep personal data from the app. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to help you, and you can ask us to delete them. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data; for data collected by Google, use the choices above or contact Google directly.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
